Ochiltree

Brief

Clients bought an existing cottage, parallel to a B road and wanted to put a substantial extension on.

The extension was designed to have minimal visual impact from main road but open up on to a west facing garden. Proportions and regulating lines carefully controlled the composition.

Clients did not wish the for architect to conduct site visits during construction, which unfortunately resulted in the the built reality of the project being considerably different to the original design.
